Welcome to my personal homepage. I am currently a postdoctoral researcher in the lab of Nikolaus Rajewsky at the Berlin Institute of Medical Systems Biology, where I am currently researching the RNA biology of neurodegenerative diseases such as ALS using spatial and long-read approaches (CZI), and more recently SARS-CoV-2 using next-generation sequencing of virus-infected epithelial or virus-induced endothelial cells (BMBF). I previously used novel approaches to map RNA termini in the Bartel lab at MIT, and researched single-cell immunology in the biotech industry and at the UNSW in Sydney.
In my spare time, I enjoy contributing to bioinformatics and educational projects, cycling, learning German, and writing.
